Ça C’est Bon! Cajun Cooking Demonstration Dinner Food. Tradition. Community. Experience Louisiana cuisine from a front-row seat at Ça C’est Bon!, an intimate six-course culinary demonstration held during the 36th Annual World Championship Gumbo CookOff. On Saturday, October 10, Executive Chef Willie Gaspard of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel takes over Bambino’s Burgers in New Iberia, offering an extraordinary six-course menu while Jason Stoner of Lafayette Foodies demonstrates the techniques, ingredients and Louisiana traditions behind cooking an authentic gumbo. From Seafood Gumbo and Mini Beef Wellingtons to 72-Hour Sous Vide Pork Belly and Pumpkin Hazelnut Tart, this is far more than dinner; it is an evening built around the craft of cooking. The experience begins with a Pickford featuring Jean Baptiste Silver Rum, followed by an Old Fashioned crafted with Jean Baptiste Rested Rum Reposee, courtesy of our spirits sponsor, Jean Baptiste Spirits, a family-owned Louisiana distillery rooted in South Louisiana sugarcane tradition.
