The Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana, also known as PAR, is a catalyst for governmental reform. PAR takes pride in being an independent voice, offering solutions to critical issues facing Louisiana. PAR uses its research to educate citizens, believing that the soundest way to achieve political progress is through deep-rooted public understanding and support. PAR also serves as a government watchdog, ensuring agencies do their work transparently and public officials keep promises made.

Procopio joined the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana as Policy Director in 2014, guiding PAR’s research agenda. He became the organization’s President in 2021.
